Testimonial: One Day in Provence - Town & Sea Tour
After a tour of the eastern boringders of France, we went to Aix-en-Provence for a restful finish to our vacation. However, we appreciate the knowledge and expertise of a good local guide and arranged for a full day with Sarah at Discover Provence. Our tour began with a walking tour of Aix where we visited both the "modern" and medieval sides of town and enjoyed the contrast in the architecture and organization of both. We visited the interiors cathedral and a restored home. Local markets and a pastry shop provided snacks along the walk! We then were driven to Cassis to enjoy a delicious fish lunch at a dockside restaurant and a boat trip to three of the famous callanques. The final visit to Cap Canaille with its beautiful vista was a perfect finish. Lots of photo opportunities and well informed conversation made this a terrific day! Sarah was a prepared and professional guide in every way.
